Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone got what they wanted from Santa. I am grateful to have gotten what I asked for, which was the iMac and the DKNY beige trench coat. I am just in love with both of my presents. I got the iMac a little more than a month ago because it was an early graduation/Christmas gift from my dad, but my mom wanted me to "open" it today even though she didn't wrap it LOL. I also got the trench coat yesterday in the mail, but I knew it was my moms present to me. I was actually more excited to give my parents and sister their presents this year because it's the first year where I actually bought them legit presents with my own money and spent money on them. I got each of them two presents each. They all loved their presents and were very grateful for them. I just love that feeling of giving gifts and giving the person what they want. I just get joy from that. I could care less about receiving a gift from that person. The funniest part of opening presents was when my dad thought he was opening his watch that he's been wanting and asking for. I got mad at him a few days ago because I ordered it for my dad on Amazon for my mom and it was addressed to me in the mail, but my dad got to it first and he's a very nosy person so he opened it before Christmas! It was supposed to be a surprise. So ever since then, we've been making fun of him and telling him that we returned it because he's been naughty. Well my family decided to wrap a present for him with coal in it so he would think it was his watch, but instead it wasn't. We took a video of him opening it and he was so happy and then realized it as coal instead. It was so funny. We didn't give him his watch until after everyone opened their presents to make it really seem like we didn't give it to him.
After opening presents, I started cooking the linguine with clams sauce and made the salad for Christmas lunch while my dad was cooking the roast beef and mussels. We then heated up our lobsters because they were already cooked from the day before. Our meal was just so delicious and perfect and put me in a food coma. It was the perfect Christmas lunch. After lunch, the family just relaxed in the family room all day sleeping and watching movies. It was such a good Christmas day. It was a day I asked for. There was no stress in cleaning and making lunch or dinner. My family was able to relax and just hangout all day.
Merry Christmas from the Mole family to you! Family Christmas morning cuddle session.
