Day 10

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! What a wonderful way to start the Christmas holiday. First unfortunately I had to work at the aquarium, but I only was scheduled for four hours. I had an 11-3 shift. Afterwards, my family went to the 4 PM Christmas Eve mass at the church that I grew up in that was recently closed for five years. Being there felt like home. I was still so comfortable being there and saw so many familiar faces. It was a great way to start the Christmas holiday. I was so disappointed and upset when they closed my grade school church down because that church just felt like home and was a comfort place. I didn't enjoy going to church so much afterwards because it just didn't feel the same anymore. I'm glad that they opened up that church again even if it is only for one mass on the Sunday schedule. After mass, my family went home for a few hours and then went to my aunts house to have Christmas Eve dinner there and exchanged presents. It was just a great time being around family and making memories. There is seriously never a dull moment when my sister is home and we're with my aunt's family. She is just too crazy and cracks way to many jokes. We were talking and laughing until 2 AM. It was such a wonderful day.
