Day 74

Well, today was pretty interesting. I had a trainee with me and I had him pitching doors so he could get practice in before he opened up his own territory. Well this one door he pitched, the owner was just plain rude. He got up and opened the door for us and told us to get out. Afterwards, he proceeded to call the cops on us. -_- While walking around Ocean City, we were about to walk into a business and saw the cops so we didn't because a coworker got stopped yesterday and got a ticket for it because he didn't have a permit. Well we were walking slowly and waiting for the police to drive by, but they stopped us. The officer was actually really nice and gave us the information we needed, as well as I gave him the information that he needed from us. Apparently we needed a permit to go business to business in that area. Afterwards, we went to a different territory because my boss told me to. Well after that happening, after the day was over, I decided to quit. I felt like what I was doing was illegal and I didn't want to be at risk on getting the cops called on me. It's just not what I like to do. So now I'm unemployed and looking for a job.
