Day 38

What a snowstorm we had! I woke up at 8:00 AM just waiting for the text that I didn't have to go into work today, but I never got one. So I had to face reality and get ready for work. I had a feeling that the aquarium was going to close early because the snow storm that they were predicting was just too crazy to stay open. Well finally around 11:30, I got the news at work that the aquarium was closing at 12 PM. My boss let me out beforehand so I could get home safely. Let me tell you, my commute to and from work ranges to about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. It took me an hour to get home because the snow was just falling too fast and streets weren't plowed yet. It was just crazy! Luckily it only took me an hour because my moms 45 minute commute took her 4 hours and 30 minutes to get home! That's just insane. The government really didn't think this one through and let all the schools and businesses out at the same time. For the rest of the day, I was just being lazy and did nothing. What more do you expect on a snow day?
