Day 25

I couldn't tell if this was a bad day or a good day. Just so much craziness went on. It first started when I was woken up about ten times in the morning from my parents. The last time I was woken up, I got a call from a company called Bankers asking me to come in next week to see what the company was all about. After I got off the phone with them, I received an e-mail from Philadelphia Marketing Executives asking for an interview also. So the day started out great. After that, I applied to Adaptable Business Concepts. They e-mailed me saying that they really liked my resume and wanted to interview me, but they were at the end of their interview process. They're going to call me on Friday to see if they will extend the interview process and have me come in to get interviewed. 

After applying, I started watching the newest Carrie. This is when shit hit the fan. In the middle of watching the movie, I paused it for the heck of it, I don't even remember why I paused the movie and heard beeping throughout my house. I went out of my room and saw that my parents bathroom and partially their room was flooding. There was just a huge puddle. Then I heard dripping downstairs and saw that water was falling from the ceiling. Also in our living room. There was water falling from the ceiling from the vent. Everything was going off and soaking wet. I called my dad immediately to try and get everything situated because I didn't know what was going on. He made me turn off the main water valve. I also ended up having to call 911 to see if there was anything wrong with the house. They brought the fire department to my house where they checked everything and what was going on. Apparently, a pipe burst which set off all the alarms and the water leaked through the living room, the hallway, my parents room, the garage, and the basement. It was just a nightmare because of course I was by myself. The one day my dad wasn't home from work, this would happen to me.

Not only did that happen. I had to pick up my mom from work, which I didn't mind at all. Just except the fact that I got lost for half an hour trying to get to her place. There's this stupid detour sign before her street and I thought you weren't allowed to go on that street so I took the detour and it brought me away from her company. Also before that happened, my GPS brought me to somewhere different. It wasn't even the right place where it brought me. I finally found my way when I went back to where I originally started and just went straight because I saw other cars do it. Her company was actually just right there. I made my mom drive us back home. 

On the way home, we stopped at HMart in northeast Philadelphia to get dinner. I got two rolls of salmon with avocado roll and my mom got ramen. We got it to go and ate it at home. After eating dinner, my sister and I went to my aunts house to take showers because our water is off for the time being.
