Day 17

Happy New Years Eve! Today was just brutal. I am so sore and I had to work. I barely could move all day and I was stuck doing apparel. I also had to work a 9.5 hour shift. Working on the apparel wasn't bad at all. It was quite relaxing and not too hectic. Work was just crazy busy because of the holiday. We closed for like an hour in between my shift and the guests who had new years tickets came in at 430. The aquarium sold 1800+ tickets, so the aquarium was just crazy. I had a lot of rude guests. Sometimes guests need to understand that we are working on a holiday and would rather be somewhere else than there. They also need to understand that we cannot tend to every guest all the time. We aren't there as your personal slaves. You aren't entitled to anything. I had a really screwed up situation where a guest was pretty much calling me stupid and a dumbass and telling all the other employees that I was a dumbass because I was doing my job. I would get into the story, but I would rather not post that story online. It's just ridiculous how people make you feel like shit. After that incident, I just wanted to go to my friends for the night and drink. Thank God that incident happened right before my shift ended so I didn't have to stay there any longer. Gebran picked me up from work and drove me home to pack and get ready to spend New Years at Nahi's house. When we finally got there, I was finally able to relax and drink. We played a few drinking games and I got pretty drunk. This New Years was my fifth New Years that I was spending with Gebran and our fourth New Years kiss together. So needless to say, Gebran was my New Years kiss. :) The rest of the night we drank and played beer pong and to end the night, we watched We're the Millers.
