Since I was reading my old posts on here, I figured I should write a post about where I’m at now. I know that no one reads this, but I’m going to do this anyway. So much has changed since the beginning of my senior year. Well I did finish my college essays and I’m glad the process is over, but at the same time I’m not so glad. Soon I’ll be leaving off for college and leaving all my friends and family back here, it’s going to be a sad but also exciting day. I’m ready to leave and start off on my own, but then again I’m not so ready to leave my old life. I wish I can have it both ways, but then I wouldn’t be learning anything.
I finally graduated from the wonderful Gloucester Catholic High School, class of 2009 baby! :) Senior year couldn’t have gone any better. I’m glad I made friends with the people I made friends with because they’re absolutely AMAZING! They’re my best friends and will always be my best friends, even though they make fun of me for being Asian all the time LOL. I’m never going to forget the memories I made at that school and the people I had those memories with. It was absolutely one of the best years of my life. Although, I was counting down the days until I left GCHS, I sure am going to miss it. It’s just weird to think that I will never go there again as a GCHS student, but as an alumni. One of the things I’m going to miss most is volleyball. I met the most amazing girls ever! I sure couldn’t see how my high school days would be without them. They were all truly amazing.
Another thing in my life that’s changed is I picked a college to go to, or should I say university? I’m going Kutztown University. It’s in Pennsylvania, about an hour and a half from where I live. It’s not that bad of a drive, especially since my dad works only forty-five minutes away. I have a roommate, we requested each other. She’s Asian! LOL. We met on facebook and seemed to get along right away. We only live about 5-10 minutes away from each other. We’ve hung out already and she’s really nice and great! I can’t wait to live together, she’s really cool. Also, my best friend since kindergarten is going to KU also. :) I’m psyched! Cecely is also going there. I’ve hung out with her a couple times and she’s really cool. After reading that, I guess you could say I’m not leaving all my friends and should be lucky I’m going to a school where I know people and am not completely lonely. I am lucky to have that, because i know there a lot of people who don’t know anyone and have to start completely over. Therefore, I know I’m lucky now, LOL. :)
Well, that’s pretty much my life as of right now, I don’t know if I missed anything but that’s pretty much it for now. Have fun reading my update of my life now! :) Oh, and I had a list on what I wanted to complete before I graduate high school and let’s say I completed 90% of what I wanted to do. :)
I’m going to start this thing where I take a picture of myself after I post a blog, even if I do look like complete shit! :)
